To legally operate a business in Cambodia, you must register your business with several government agencies. The process typically involves the following four main entities:

1. Ministry of Commerce (MoC)

Purpose: Legal incorporation of the business entity and company name registration.

Steps:

1. Create an online account via the Cambodia Business Registration portal (CamDX – Cambodia Data Exchange).

2. Reserve a company name (can be done online).

3. Submit the required documents, including:

   • Company name reservation approval

   • Articles of incorporation

   • Shareholders’ and directors’ identification (passports or national IDs)

   • Office lease agreement

   • Bank statement showing minimum capital (if required)

4. Pay registration fees

5. Receive the Certificate of Incorporation and company extract.
